Loving Hearts Foundation’s mission is to provide education and hospitality to the youth of Nigeria. We strive to achieve this goal by welcoming support from generous individuals with the heart to help empower the children in Nigeria who are in need.
In 2010, Inyene Udoh traveled to Nigeria with her family for summer vacation. In Nigeria, she met a lot of family members and friends who she had not seen since 2008. Not only did she meet her loved ones, she was also faced with a culture shock. Nigeria isn’t as wealthy as America. The amount of poverty in Nigeria is very known and recognizable. She even has a couple of family members and friends who had to drop out of school at an early age and work because they couldn’t afford to keep going to school. When she traveled to Nigeria again in 2016, she started to brainstorm a way that she can help out some of the youth in Nigeria who are homeless and can’t go to school. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. This is the reason Loving Hearts Foundation exists. We probably won’t be able to change the world, but if we can change one person’s life, then it’ll be all worth it.
I am a 16-year-old Junior who actually started the idea of the foundation. Along with my dad, Jerry Udoh, we’re here to change the lives of the youth in Nigeria.
